Well, we are into the second semester. Time flies when you are learning. February is Black History month and we have many different activities planned throughout the month culminating with an assembly at the end of the month. It is great to be a member of the Stonewall community because we have such diversity and our able to celebrate that diversity throughout the school year. We will also be having our Achievement Assemblies on February 15. An added treat for our Assemblies this year will be Jennine Faruque, s 6th grade student, who will give her Martin Luther King Oratorical speech, which won her 2nd place in the County competition.
Our teachers have worked extremely hard over the first semester challenging the children to do their very best. Please continue to support the teachers, staff and especially your children in our quest for excellence. It is truly a pleasure to work in the best middle school in Prince William County because we have the best teachers, staff, parents and especially students.
